Office Supervision and Management AAS-T

In Cascadia’s College’s Office Supervision and Management pathway, you will learn office technology, administration, business, and management courses for the person who wants to move into a supervisory, managerial, or executive assistant position. Employment opportunities for graduates may include administrative assistant, executive assistant, executive secretary, office manager, and administrative supervisor.

 

Modalities

Coursework may be completed through a combination of in-person (web enhanced), hybrid and online modes, though not every course is offered in the same modality each quarter. Specific courses may be offered at certain times of the year. Consult the current Class Schedule.

Placement

Many courses at Cascadia College have placement prerequisites for reading, writing and math ability. The courses that you will place into determine how you progress through your pathway and how long your degree will take. There are a variety of ways to find your English and Math placement level.

Planning Your Courses

Dedicated Academic Advisor: Students in the Application Development Program have access to a dedicated IT academic advisor. Your advisor will help you develop the skills to make academic and career pathway decisions. Through advising, your advisor will support you to make connections between academic interests, long term goals, and career opportunities. The IT advisor will assist with education planning, internship and career planning, and graduation processes.
